I did a consulting call with Rachel and was very impressed with the thoroughness of her product research as well as the breadth of her recommendation. Because of our call, I was able to see some of the deficiencies in my marketing strategies and bring on two marketing hires, who will help me turn things around. I highly recommend Rachel as a dependable and thorough marketing consultant.

We had the pleasure of working with Rachel on retainer for Shogun blog content, and can easily recommend her work. Rachel is reliable and has strong knowledge and research skills in the ecommerce space. Her detailed, well-structured articles regularly earned top positions.
Rachel’s familiar with many niche ecommerce topics and it shows, plus she integrated herself into our internal processes. Wouldn’t hesitate to work with Rachel again!

Shortly after I joined Shogun, I took Rachel on as a regular freelance writer. She consistently asked for feedback so that she could best match the style and tone of the Shogun blog. Her posts commonly got top spots in the SERP and yielded significant traffic, enabling us to drive all-important installs from content. I could always count on her to take my content briefs away and come back with great longform SEO posts that covered every aspect of the topic at hand. Her research and willingness to dive into new tools made for really powerful content. Revisions were always taken as an opportunity to improve. I would definitely work with her again.
The following recommendation is from Jamyang Tenzin, Co-Founder and CEO at Centro.

Rachel was incredibly thorough, thoughtful, and insightful in our consulting engagement – she really detailed out the process behind creating and scaling a content engine. We worked through all the ways to 1. generate content, 2. distribute and partner it, and 3. measure its value. In addition to this core insight, we discussed startup growth strategies and Rachel provided a range of strategies + the tactics to enable them. What really stood out was the insight all being grounded in her extensive experience growing startups.
Coming out of this engagement, I am much more aware of what to do next and how to grow it. Cannot recommend Rachel enough as a thought leader and operational leader in this space!
The following recommendation is from Travis Mariea, CEO at Flxpoint.

I hesitate to leave a review for Rachel as a true review would be glowing and effervescent to the point where a/ I sound like a child on Christmas and b/ I’d fear someone will steal her from me. She is THAT good. I’ve been in the marketing game for 20+ years and I struggle to think of a single person with as much depth and breadth as Rachel that also executes with the throughput/delivery Rachel achieves. She manages her team, vendors and budgets extremely well…and has a wonderful positive attitude doing so.
The following recommendation is from Michael Krakaris, Co-Founder of Deliverr.
June 2, 2021
Rachel was the first marketing hire at Deliverr, and from Day 1 she exemplified no other Deliverr value more than “Be Lean”. She was able to set up our newsletter and blog within a few weeks, coordinating across writers, designers, partners and development to publish multiple new forms of content every day. Rachel has grown with the company as well, taking on bigger initiatives – she built and ran our first ever seller conference, Discoverr, which hosted top retailers like Walmart and Wish along with thousands of eCommerce merchants. Rachel is a pleasure to work with – she is a proven executor and can be trusted to complete her tasks with high quality and an attention to detail. She is able to identify and communicate areas where marketing can improve and collaborate.
The following recommendation is from Seth Hurd, Founder and CEO of Elite Rebate.

Rachel has ruined marketers for me. I can’t seem to ever find anyone who is even close to as good as she is or has as much drive as she does.
She is always working harder than anyone I know AND going the extra mile to continue learning.
Not only would I recommend her to anyone, but I recommend everyone learn from her!
The following recommendation is from Liz Gazer, affiliate marketing manager/consultant.

In my role as the Outsourced Affiliate Program Manager for Deliverr, I have found her to be an energetic, decisive and results-driven manager with solid analytical ability, presentation skills and thorough understanding of eCommerce fulfillment best practices. I appreciate that when applying systematic solutions to complex challenges, Rachel is always willing to look at things from a fresh perspective, empowering her team to drive better results, by encouraging and supporting creativity and new ideas. I have enjoyed working closely with Rachel and would happily recommend her to any company in need of a dependable, resourceful professional who does what it takes, to get the job done!

Rachel is an absolute star and I recommend her to any digital agency, SaaS platform or quite frankly, any business. Rachel has a real skill in communicating clearly, precisely and with purpose. She is an invaluable contact of our business and it’s an absolute joy working with her.
Toro Digital has engaged Rachel to proofread and edit our content but she has always made herself available to provide extra support such as content strategy, work with writers and develop content schedules. I can’t recommend her enough.

Rachel’s support helped me raise my prices 150% in the past two years.
She did this in two ways. First, she’s integral to my content marketing program, which helped my lead-gen to expand my sales pipeline. Rachel’s editing always makes my writing better, and she’s helped me stay accountable. She’s the key reason my newsletter has gone out every single week. Second, Rachel has helped me elevate my boutique client experience, through value-added services that have supported the price increase.
Rachel illustrates the power of hiring the right remote team members—we’ve never met in person, and we’ve only had a couple voice conversations in nearly three years, yet she’s a better team member than several people I’ve managed in-person at previous firms.
Beyond the business results, Rachel is great to work with. She’s 100% reliable, and her turnaround is lightning fast. You and your business would be lucky to hire her.

If you’re in the eCommerce space and you’re looking for an inbound marketer to help you take things to the next level, you’ll struggle finding someone as sharp as Rachel.
I’m a copywriter and we’ve collaborated on various projects for the last 18 months– I love working with Rachel. She gets people– a crucial trait in an inbound marketer. Few people strike the balance between leading and delegating with this much style.
If you’ve got a chance to work with her, grab it.

Rachel is a brilliant marketing strategist with impeccable work ethic. Her knowledge about the intricacies of the marketing process and her ability to explain complex ideas allowed our company to realise the benefits of marketing. We sought Rachel’s services because we “needed help” with our website. Not only do we have a remarkable website, but her counsel continues to be instrumental in changing our marketing paradigm into that that is better suited our competitive marketplace.
I would highly recommend Rachel to any organisation looking for effective ways to reach their target audience and deliver powerful messages.
The following recommendation is from Travis Weathers, who serves multiple clients we’ve collaborated on.

Rachel is a phenomenal blogger. She is clear in her communication and more important she is prompt in her responses. Rachel is one of those world-class gems in a world full of so-called “bloggers” and “marketers.” I will take any opportunity to work with Rachel again and again.
The following recommendation is from Karl Sakas of Sakas and Company.

Rachel is amazing! I’ve worked with her since January 2016 but it seems longer—she’s made a big impact on my business as an agency consultant.
When I advise agencies about hiring, I recommend a concept called “New Rope vs. Wet Twine.” Rachel is 100% “New Rope“—does great work, works quickly, takes initiative.
The following recommendation is from Dave Nevogt, Co-Founder of Hubstaff.

She is a hard worker and enjoys her work, which is an important aspect for a team member to have. She frequently studies on her own about how she can get better. She’s fast, thoughtful, trustworthy, and has a very nice personality overall. I believe she would get along with almost anyone. She’s been a great team member and contributor to Hubstaff over the years.

Rachel is a dynamic and engaging person to work with. Her intelligence paired with her passion for writing is evident in her work, which provided our team with uniquely written pieces for such relevant topics. She takes initiative to showcase new ideas, but is very flexible and open to others suggestions, which can be seen in how she revises her work, and streamlines it towards suggested needs.
Rachel works in such a timely and organized manner, and she has managed to submit quality work, even under impromptu deadlines. Her openness to collaborate makes her very easy and enjoyable to work with.
Rachels particular skill that is unique is her ability to write educated articles about a wide array of topics. This indicates both a cultured and holistic person who can self manage herself to do research as well as provide a colourful perspective from one that is well aware of the world around her.
The following is a recommendation from Lena Kim, Direct Sales Manager of Seven of Hearts / Luminous Hills.

I had the pleasure of hiring and working with Rachel at a small Oregon winery. She took the time to learn about the business and submitted a thoughtful and well-written marketing plan before her first day on the job. During the months of her employment, I witnessed her expand her knowledge of the Oregon wine industry and contribute to the growth of the business by using her marketing and public relations expertise. Within a matter of weeks, she was entrusted with managing the tasting room alone and provided stellar customer service to new and regular customers alike. She made impactful changes to the company website and was instrumental in designing and creating rack cards and other literature to promote the business. Her professionalism is second to none and her positive attitude is infectious. She is a fast learner and a team player that works intuitively without guidance and responds well to feedback. I highly recommend Rachel for any sales, marketing and PR position.

Rachel Go and I met through a mutual colleague at the Linfield College Career Development Department. She agreed to be a guest presenter at one of my LinkedIn workshops. Rachel volunteered as our Social Media / Marketing intern a few hours a week for several months. Rachel demonstrated incredible initiative and took tasks and completed them with minimal guidance while always producing wonderful results. June 27, 2013
Rachel is very smart, mature beyond her years and highly motivated. Her speaking and writing skills are excellent, and her work ethic and organizational skills are exceptional. She is a true self-starter. When she was in college, she was the most productive student I have ever seen. She completed and submitted almost all of her assignments BEFORE the deadline, despite enrolling in 17 or 18 credits per semester and working two to three part-time jobs. She didn’t miss class, and she was never late. In class, she was attentive and asked pertinent questions. She was always considerate of faculty and fellow students. And her work was top notch.
Rachel and I have kept in touch since she graduated, so I can tell you that she remains upbeat and pleasant to be around–and a quick study. I give her my most enthusiastic recommendation.
The following is a recommendation from Professor Michael Huntsberger, for whom I have worked from freshman to senior year at Linfield College.
December 17, 2012
Rachel worked directly for me for three and a half years as my office assistant, and served as the peer advisor for my Colloquium course in the fall of 2012. I have also instructed Rachel as a student in several courses. In all of these activities, Rachel has distinguished herself as an energetic, meticulous, and hard working individual who is ready to meet any challenge presented to her.
As my employee, Rachel was responsible for a variety of essential tasks, including conducting basic research, grading and monitoring of student assignments, advising incoming first years students, organizing records and files, filing academic records and professional documents, inventorying supplies and materials, updating computer software, and running errands to other campus units. In every instance, she approached her work with skill, energy and confidence. In fact, Rachel may be the most capable self-starter I have ever employed. She is always ready and eager to take on any task assigned to her, and she approaches her work with a degree of focus that was almost uncanny. Her work is meticulous and thorough, and she never fails to complete her assignments faster than I expect her to. She achieves these outstanding results with little or no supervision. In every respect, Rachel is an outstanding employee, because she is a fundamentally terrific person.
The following recommendation is from Library Director Susan Barnes Whyte of Linfield’s Jereld R. Nicholson Library. I worked for the library both as a circulation desk worker and an office worker. I was also her public relations intern over the summer.

To Whom It May Concern:
It is with pleasure that I write this reference letter for Rachel Go.
I have known Rachel since the academic year 2010-2011 when she took the introduction to the Mass Communication major, Information Gathering, which I co-teach with Professor Brad Thompson. I did not know Rachel at all when the class started but she quickly rose to the top of the class, always ahead of the work and always eager to do even more. Information Gathering is one of the more difficult classes that Mass Communication majors take. Students devote the semester to studying, researching, and writing about national policy issues. There are 10 weekly assignments that culminate in a 12-page paper and a 22-source annotated bibliography which must include 3 books, 3 scholarly journal articles, 3 newspaper and/or popular press articles, 3 actual interviews with experts, and blogs, government documents and other kinds of sources. Rachel excelled in each assignment and was way ahead of most of the other students.
I then was pleased to hire Rachel to work for us in the library once she returned from studying abroad in China. She immediately wanted to do more than the normal work-study job, so she proposed a public relations internship for the library. She managed several projects including writing brochures for all new students, managing the READ poster project which features faculty, staff and students in posters placed all over campus, and creating training videos for new students. Rachel has so much energy and determination to do a good job. And, she is such a pleasant person with whom to work. Few students in my 23 years at Linfield have shown the initiative that Rachel has.
I would recommend Rachel for most any position. She can think, create, write, and do media-intensive projects. She is also always pleasant and careful in her work. She will give any future employer more than 100%.
Please do contact me if I can answer any questions you might have.
Rachel rocks.
Sincerely,
Susan Barnes Whyte
